Andrew Mamlic (2-0) was the complete-game winning pitcher while Jeff Schalk and Ryan Jordan each had a pair of hits. Waubonsie Valley 9, Bartlett 7:The Warriors (10-11, 9-7) broke a 4-4 tie by scoring 4 runs in the top of the third inning in their Upstate Eight Conference Valley Division victory. Kyle Limanowski, the winning pitcher in relief, went 3-for-4 with 2 homers and 4 RBI. Mitch Stefani had 3 hits and 3 RBI. WW South 12, West Chicago 2:Jeremy Rhoades (4-2) picked up the win for the Tigers (12-11, 8-6), who scored in every inning of the six-inning DuPage Valley Conference game. Hunter Serrato hit a 2-run homer for West Chicago (8-13, 3-9).Naperville North 15, Glenbard East 4:An 8-run fifth inning powered the Huskies (9-12, 6-8) to their DuPage Valley Conference win. Nick Solak and Tyler Gehr combined for 5 hits, a home run apiece and 7 RBI. Ian Gustafson (1-0) pitched 6 innings to win on the mound. Will Koski went 3-for-3 with an RBI for Glenbard East (8-14, 5-8).Benet 5, St. Charles East 4:Andrew Jachna's solo home run in the bottom of the sixth provided the game-winning hit as the Redwings (12-10) rallied to the nonconference win. St. Charles East took a 4-0 lead in the third inning before Benet answered with 4 runs in the fifth inning. Zac Lewinski had 2 RBI and Chris Stout went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Winning pitcher Bobby Hayes (2-1) didn't allow a run in 3 innings of relief. Glenbard North 10, West Aurora 0:Brandon Clark, Ryan Gallagher and Brandon Villanueva combined for 9 hits and 8 RBI for the Panthers (14-7, 8-4) in a six-inning DuPage Valley Conference win. Clark homered twice and Mark Ng added a third home run. Will Petrosky (4-1) struck out 11 and allowed 3 hits.
