Tyler Morowski went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 runs while Luke Duffy went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jack Sutherland also added 2 RBI. Duffy (2-2) earned the victory on the mound as he scattered 5 hits while giving up 6 walks and striking out seven.
Streamwood 8, Neuqua Valley 2: The Sabres (10-0, 4-0) used a big 5-run first inning and never looked back as they defeated the Wildcats in this Upstate Eight Conference game on the road. Bobby Post went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI while Alex Morrow (double) and Pat Manning (2 runs) went 2-for-4 to lead the Sabres offensively. Josh Harris (3-0) earned the victory on the mound as he threw a complete-game 6 hitter while allowing no walks and striking out 8.
Elgin 2, Metea Valley 2: The Maroons (1-5-1, 1-2-1) battled with Metea Valley on the road, but due to darkness they were unable to finish the game which resulted in a tie in this Upstate Eight Conference game. Lee Jackson led the Maroons with 2 hits, including a triple while Jacob Meyer added a double.
Winnebago 5, Burlington Central 3: The Rockets (7-3) tried to mount a comeback, but fell short in this nonconference loss to Winnebago. Joey Lange led the Rockets with 2 doubles. Nick Hahn (1-2) suffered the loss as he gave up 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3 in 1 innings pitched.
Lake Park 12, Larkin 1: The Royals (6-4, 1-2) were unable to get the offense going as they recorded just 3 hits and struggled defensively with 4 errors in this Upstate Eight Conference loss. Trevor Whitehead and Victor Saldana each recorded a hit for the Royals. Miguel Villafane (2-1) suffered his first loss of the season as he gave up 6 hits and 6 walks while striking out 2.

Hampshire coach Steve Ream was reportedly hit in the head with a baseball during the game and received 7 staples in his head.
