Elgin Academy's choral concert March 23

On Wednesday, March 23, Elgin Academy's Fine Arts Department presents its spring choral concert, "Stories in Song: Folk Songs in the American Tradition," from 7 to 9 p.m.

The first half of the program will present traditional American folk songs in traditional settings, accompanied by piano, banjo and fiddle. The second half will present traditional American folk songs in fun and different non-traditional settings. Come and enjoy Red River Valley, The Gift to Be Simple and Clementine among many others! It promises to be a great evening for the whole family, and it's free!

It will be held in the Kimball Street Theatre, 350 Park St. in Elgin.
