Job Seeker Readiness Workshop on March 3

On Thursday, March 3, learn about job fair preparation and how to make the most effective use of your time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alfred Campanelli YMCA, 300 W. Wise Road in Schaumburg.

Understand the different types of job fairs, the people behind the tables and the absolutely critical last step of attending a job fair. You will leave knowing the top five skills employers value most in 2011, and the 10 keys to success at job fairs.

Ongoing workshops available on resume presentation and marketing your brand through an effective resume and cover letter; resume review session where experts review your resume; job search techniques presentation including how to tap into the hidden job market; and interview presentation on getting to "You're Hired" by selling yourself in the interview.

It is presented by Medusa Consulting Group and co-sponsored by Village of Schaumburg, Village of Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg Township District Library
