Stop by Green Living Fair March 12

Come learn how to live a greener life!

A Green Living Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St. in Libertyville. Admission is free.

Representatives and/or information will be available from groups such as: Lake County Forest Preserves, Chicago Botanic Gardens, CLC Sustainability Center, Lake County Bicycle Club, organic farmers, master gardeners, and many more.

Children's activities, fair trade shopping and recycling opportunities, including electronics (no TVs), Styrofoam blocks, plastic bags, gym shoes, gently used dress shoes, crayons, inkjet cartridges, cell phones, hearing aids, glasses, plastic beverage bottle caps and wine corks (no plastic) will be available.

There will be a raffle.

It is sponsored by the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation with Lake County Green Congregations.
