Neuqua Valley 4, Plainfield Central 3: Jena Boudreau (6-2) pitched all 14 innings, striking out 10, and singled in Jenna Marsalli with two outs in the bottom of the 14th for the game-winner in Naperville.
Colleen Hohman was 3-for-6 with a double for Neuqua (13-7).
Trinity 6, Glenbard South 5: Freshman shortstop Abby Ramirez went 3-for-4 with 2 triples, 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in as Trinity (17-2) rallied from a 5-1 deficit to avenge last year's Class 3A supersectional loss. No. 3 Glenbard South (16-2), which lost for the second time in three games, scored 4 runs in the top of the second on RBI singles by Jackie Wrona, Tess Diiorio and Brianna Meath and an Amanda Fazzari sacrifice fly. A Ramirez triple off Jess Wilkes (11-1) in the fourth tied the game, and she scored the go-ahead run on a squeeze bunt by Amanda Ramirez.
Glenbard East 6, Glenbard North 5: Michele Graham singled in Megan Shannon in the bottom of the seventh, as the Rams upended the Panthers in Lombard. Shannon went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs batted in for Glenbard East (8-11, 1-3 DuPage Valley Conference).
Wheaton North 3, WW South 2: Paige Evangelista doubled in Anne Thomas and Ele Walter with two outs in the bottom of the fifth, rallying the host Falcons. Kelsey Ullrich slugged a solo homer for No. 12 Wheaton North (14-3, 2-2 DVC).
West Chicago 7, West Aurora 1: Winning pitcher Mary Connolly (13-4) struck out nine, and at the plate homered, doubled and drove in 4 runs for No. 11 West Chicago (16-6, 3-1 DVC).
Immaculate Conception 5, Chicago Christian 3: Nicolette Lullo's 2-run single capped off a 3-run fifth inning, as the Knights (13-5, 8-0 Suburban Christian Conference) ran their win streak to 10 straight. Katelyn Conenna tripled and scored and Maria Kieliszewski doubled and scored in the IC fifth. Erin Dunne (5-3) struck out four.
Montini 3, Wheaton Academy 1: Lara Mangialardi (9-7) scattered 6 hits, striking out nine, for Montini (9-12) in Lombard.
Fenton 3, Timothy Christian 2: Sarah Overlin doubled in a run in the second and Missy Santagata added an RBI single in the third for the Bison (6-12, 1-6 Metro Suburban Conference).
Coal City 9, Lisle 1: DePaul recruit Kirsten Verdun struck out 11, as the host Coalers beat Lisle (7-6, 4-3 Interstate Eight Conference) in a rematch of last year's Class 2A supersectional won by Coal City.
St. Francis 20, Walther Lutheran 0: Bri Pasquale homered and tripled twice and Emily Karpinski also went deep for the Spartans (15-6, 6-2 Suburban Christian).
Downers Grove South 4, Hinsdale South 2: Michelle Lisy doubled and drove in a run, Marissa Mersch doubled and scored a run and the No. 5 Mustangs (15-1, 4-0 West Suburban Gold Conference) scored 3 runs in the sixth to rally past the Hornets in Darien. Cecie Portillo homered for Hinsdale South.
