Willowbrook, West Chicago split

Willowbrook 1-0, West Chicago 0-5: Bria Ford scored on a hard-hit ball by Dana Campagna dropped in the outfield, giving Willowbrook a walk-off win over No. 6 West Chicago in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday in Villa Park. Michelle Interrante (2-2), who lost the second game, outdueled West Chicago's Mary Connolly in the first. Connolly (0-1) struck out nine. Tarah Rayos (1-0) picked up the win in the second game for West Chicago (1-1).

Glenbard West 10-16, Addison Trail 0-0: Rachel Hitzeman went 2-for-2 and scored 2 runs and Kelly Borneman 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in for Glenbard West in the opener. Winning pitcher Meghan Johnson went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI and Michele Waggoner 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI in the second game for the Hilltoppers (2-0).

Wheaton North 3-10, Downers Grove North 0-0: Paige Wilson doubled once in the opener and two more times in the second game for Wheaton North (3-1). Winning pitcher Katie Thornton (2-0) homered for the Falcons in Game 2.
