'Jungle Book' comes to College of Lake County

Students ages 8 to 18 of Christian Youth Theater will present "The Jungle Book," a daring story of adventure based on Rudyard Kipling's exotic tale, this weekend at the College of Lake County.

The story follows a young boy named Mowgli, who was raised in the jungles of India by a pack of wolves. There he learns the laws of the jungle from his good friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther. Exciting songs, jungle rhythms and intriguing characters make the jungle come alive in a way like never before.

Christian Youth Theater is a nonprofit, educational theater arts program for students 4-18 in the Aurora, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kenosha, Lake, McHenry, Oak Park and Rockford Metro areas and has about 6,000 students per year.
