Hampshire d. Harvard: The Whip-Purs (13-2, 3-0) remained undefeated in Big Northern East play as they downed Harvard 25-17, 25-21. Kara and Amy Wehrs paced Hampshire's offense with 13 and 11 kills respectively while Tia Incaprio led the defense with 27 digs.
Burlington Central d. Marengo: Stephanie Holthus led the Rockets (12-5, 3-0) with 16 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces to this 25-14, 25-11 Big Northern East victory. Taylor Scully added 7 kills and 9 digs while Audrey Djukic recorded 4 kills and 2 aces. Sophomores Kaitlyn O'Reilly (21 assists, 3 aces) and Sydney Sand (3 kills) also contributed.
Westminster Christian d. Alden-Hebron: The Warriors (14-7, 2-2) picked up another Northeastern Athletic Conference victory defeating Alden-Hebron 25-16, 25-16. Hannah Graves led the way with 3 kills, 11 assists, and 4 digs while Cate Gibson added 4 kills, 2 aces, and 11 digs. Sarah Rodgers (5 kills, 2 digs) and Katie Webster (4 aces, 5 digs) also played well for the Warriors.
Lake Park d. Streamwood: The Sabres fell in Upstate Eight Conference action 25-19, 25-15. Melissa Oehlerking recorded a team-high 6 kills while also contributing 6 digs. Faustyna Koszyk added 3 kills for the Sabres.
McHenry d. Jacobs: The Golden Eagles (5-13, 1-3) suffered a tough Fox Valley (Valley) loss falling to McHenry 25-19, 27-25. Alyssa Ehrhardt paced Jacobs with 12 kills while Quinn Luehring recorded 17 assists. Mattie Stearns paced the defense with 19 digs.
Neuqua Valley d. South Elgin: The Storm (2-8-1, 0-4) remained winless in Upstate Eight play as they fell to Neuqua Valley 25-9, 25-16. Sarah Havermann led the Strom defense with 5 digs while Alyssa Krause added a team-high 2 kills.
Huntley d. Dundee-Crown: The Red Raiders (14-5, 2-2) cruised to a 25-12, 25-10 Fox Valley (Valley) victory over the Chargers (4-8, 0-4). Ashley Smith paced Huntley's offense with 10 kills while Amanda Carroll added 16 assists.
Waubonsie Valley d. Larkin: The Royals were unable to get the offense going in this 25-11, 25-10 Upstate Eight loss. Stacie Beaver (2 kills, 2 blocks), Amanda Lye (2 kills, 1 block), and Lexi Smithberg (4 assists) contributed for the Royals.
Bartlett d. Elgin: The Hawks (15-4, 3-2) cruised to an easy 25-11, 25-14 Upstate Eight win over Elgin. Carly Sahagian paced the Hawks attack with 15 kills while Alyssa Cazzato added 15 assists.
