• Dunkin' Donuts, 169 E. Lake St., Bloomingdale, will hold a grand re-opening celebration to benefit D.A.R.E. from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 2. The first 100 people who donate $3 or more to the program will receive one dozen free doughnuts. Anyone else who makes a donation will receive a free travel mug. Bloomingdale Mayor Bob Iden and members of the village's police department will be on hand to greet customers and collect donations. The free plane rides are part of the EAA Chapter 101's Young Eagle Rallies, designed to promote interest in aviation among children ages 8 to 17. • The Elmhurst Artists' Guild will present "Motorcycle as Metaphor," an exhibit of work by artist Wesley R.
