June 4

• The DuPage County Health Department Mental Health Services is seeking volunteers. Training will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, June 4-18, at the health department, 111 N. County Farm Road. • The Glen Ellyn Garden Walk will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 7 at six private gardens. Tickets cost $20 through June 4 and $25 after. Proceeds will benefit Bridge Communities, a not-for-profit organization that helps local homeless families. • The Kiwanis Club of Lombard's annual house walk, "Over the Threshold: A Tour of Distinctive Lombard Homes" will be June 6 at six homes. Tours will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. All guests also may attend a reception with designers and homeowners from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Lilacia Park, 150 S. Park Ave. Tickets cost $25 and proceeds will benefit local charities supported by Kiwanis and the club's scholarship fund. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the following Lombard locations: Mr. Z Supermarket, 401 S. Main St; Harris Bank, 345 S. Main St.; Shamrock Florist, 901 E. • The second annual Lexus of Naperville Jazz Festival will be June 6-8 in Central Park, Benton and Court streets, Naperville. Headliners include Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Friday, the Yellowjackets Saturday and Ross Bon and Mighty Blue Kings Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the Heritage YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign and the Turning Pointe Autism Foundation. Reserved tickets cost $33 and lawn seats cost $19. • The Women's Club of Addison's annual golf outing will be June 7 at Maple Meadows Golf Club, 272 S. Addison Road, Wood Dale.
