With over 12 years of retail banking experience, Martin Quantz, manager of Amcore Bank's South Elgin branch, was promoted to an officer. Quantz will be responsible for managing the sales and service of the branch to ensure that product, service referral and profitability goals are met.

Roy Lilly was named president and chief executive officer of Elgin-based Hansen Plastics Corp. Lilly, who joined the company in 1978 as a molding foreman, succeeds the retiring Dave Watermann.

Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheaton, named Paul Pyrcik vice president and executive director of the Marianjoy Foundation, responsible for the planning and implementation of all fundraising efforts. Additionally, Margaret Rumpsa was named vice president of the Marianjoy Medical Group Physician Practice, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the physician practice.

Kathleen Newhouse, chief executive officer of Geneva-based Park Place Interiors, earned a master certification from the Window Fashions Certified Professionals.

York Theatre, Elmhurst, promoted Trevor Murakami to general manager. Murakami is responsible for the daily operations of the recently expanded and renovated historic theater, owned and operated by Classic Cinemas.

Todd Younger, commercial division manager and senior vice president at Amcore Bank, was promoted to southern Chicago suburban regional president to oversee the Naperville, Aurora, Lombard, Orland Park and Joliet markets.

Dan Nolan of Hoffman Estates moved his real estate services to Exit Realty Advantage in Arlington Heights. Nolan, who is a former bank fraud investigator and loss mitigator, will focus on under-valued properties in and around the Chicago area while teaching good homeowner practices through meetings and seminars.

Wheeling-based WorldPoint was named the American Heart Association's Partner of the Year for its outstanding contributions to the association's mission. John C. Amato, president and chief executive officer of WorldPoint, accepted the award.

Loves and Fishes Community Pantry of Naperville appointed Naperville area resident Charles McLimans executive director. McLimans is a 14-year veteran of the philanthropic sector.

Aurora-based CMS Group Inc. was honored with the 2008 Award for Business Excellence by the Business Ledger, a bimonthly newspaper serving DuPage and Northwest Cook County along with the Fox Valley. CMS Group was chosen in the category of small companies with 50 or fewer employees.

Dixon Companies Inc., McHenry, hired William J. Garvin as superintendent for Dixon Construction Group out of the company's Wausau, Wis., office. Additionally, Matthew L. Krummick of Gurnee was hired as a project manager in the McHenry office.

Sue Taflinger of Arlington Heights and Laura Ziccardi of Schaumburg were promoted to team leaders with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct seller of gourmet foods.

Attorney and McHenry resident Courtney Clark joined the Woodstock-based full-service law firm of Michling Hofmann Vinton Plaza & Wick PC. Clark is a member of the American, Illinois State and McHenry County Bar associations.

General Growth Properties Inc., Chicago, named Deerfield resident Arnold Cohen marketing manager for its Northbrook Court shopping center in Northbrook.

Terrence Sykes was appointed executive director and chief operating officer for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Clifton Gunderson, with offices in Oak Brook and Schaumburg, named Krista McMasters chief executive officer to succeed the retiring Carl George.

Randy Fank was named manager of FBO operations at J.A. Air Center, West Chicago, responsible for the FBO operation of the new facility at Chicagolands Aurora Municipal Airport and the existing facility at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport.

Naperville resident Anthony Snyder was named manager, business development, for Schaumburg-based American Hardware Manufacturers Association. Previously Snyder served as director of membership and marketing for the American Society of Home Inspectors, Des Plaines.

Amcore Bank promoted Anna Fiore, branch manager, to retail market manager and officer. Fiore becomes responsible for the growth and leadership of the Schaumburg and Mount Prospect branches along with supervising the retail banking teams. Additionally, Amcore Bank recognized Brian Bishop, a mortgage loan originator in Elgin, with its award for top volume production and membership into the President's Club, while Kamron Azam, a mortgage loan originator in Schaumburg, was recognized with membership into the Ambassador Club.

With more than 20 years of finance and accounting leadership experience, Sue Gibbs was promoted to vice president, finance, for Comcast Greater Chicago Region West, based in Schaumburg. Gibbs oversees all financial, accounting, budgeting and reporting activities for the region.

Larry J. Kallembach was promoted to executive vice president, chief information officer, at MB Financial Bank, Rosemont.

Baxter & Woodman Inc., consulting engineers, named John Mick II to lead the staff of its newly opened office on LaSalle Street in Chicago. Mick has 30 years of experience in infrastructure improvements, with an emphasis on transportation system planning and analyses.

Hoffman Estates resident Graeme A. Foster joined Dixon Companies Inc., Crystal Lake, as vice president of construction operations for the Dixon Construction Group. Previously Foster, who has 30 years of industry experience, served as a project manager for a large Rolling Meadows-based builder.
