COD Continuing Education hosts free 'Lunch Break Lectures'

This spring, the College of DuPage will host a series of free "Lunch Break Lectures" on a variety of topics on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Part of Continuing Education's Lifelong Learning program, the "Lunch Break Lectures" feature experts from the continuing education program discussing a variety of topics, including the Beatles, Winston Churchill and Shakespeare.

Lectures are from noon to 1 p.m. on select Wednesdays, Jan. 10 through May 16, in the Student Resource Center, Room 1127. Registration is recommended.

The topics will be "Warrior Monks" on Jan. 10; "All About Elizabeth" on Jan. 24; "Beatles: The Solo Years" on Feb. 7; "When Normans Attack!" on Feb. 21; "All About Shakespeare" on March 7; "Chicago's Magnificent Glessner House" on March 21; "Travel Portugal" on April 4; "Winston Churchill" on April 18; "Rod Serling" on May 2; and "Lives of England's Monarchs" on May 16.
