Northern Kane County Chamber's app promotes local businesses, community events

The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce board of directors invites community members and local businesses to download the chamber's free, convenient and easy-to-use to mobile app.

"Our app gives the community everything it needs to know about our chamber business members and services and upcoming community events," said Melissa Hernandez, Northern Kane County Chamber president.

Chamber board of directors discussed the importance of the app and its value for offering specials to the community at its recent board retreat.

"We would like to get the word out to as many people as possible to download the free app," said Kristi Kozar, board chair. "Simply search for Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce at your App Store or Google Play. Building our app community is a top priority. It will provide our local businesses a wide audience to offer unique special values and coupons. It's a win-win for everyone concerned."

The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for commerce, industry and development in the northern Fox Valley villages of Carpentersville, East Dundee, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow and West Dundee.

Its mission is identifying and fulfilling the needs of the business community through leadership, education, support and promotion.
