"Tools for Transformation: A Journey For Women" is a nine-month program based on the belief that women have the inherent ability to create a luxurious and beautiful life. It has developed over the past nine months and begins on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Inside, 1241 N. Green St. in McHenry.
Rita Hickman, owner of Inside along with Lyn Drathring, and the Rev. Anne Schmitt came together to help women reach a new level of happiness and success. It is a place to untangle the knots of their hidden beliefs, negative memories and emotional triggers. Four intro workshops were held between July 30 and Sept. 29 to provide a sampling of the nine-month program which begins next Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Rita Hickman is a Shiatsu Massage therapist and founder of Duval Healing Therapy. She specializes in panic, anxiety, childhood-based post-traumatic stress disorder and paradigm shifts related to emotional/physical pain or business success.
Lyn Drathring is a Reiki master, Tai Chi instructor, Qi Gong instructor and Women's Circle Facilitator. She works with energy and has experience working with chronic illness, breaking unhealthy communication patterns, relationship issues and spiritual journeying.
Rev. Anne Schmitt is a New Thought Minister who works in the spiritual realm with the conscious and sub conscious mind as a Metaphysical teacher, spiritual counselor and certified hypnotheraphist.
The program is designed to provide inner peace, healed relationships, new adventures and emotional intimacy in a compassionate and heart-centered community of women. It offers personal mentoring to guide participants to personal success, genuine happiness, and deeper spiritual connection.
The two, 2½-hour workshops sessions a month feature different personal growth topics.
