Physical Therapist Assistant Program Receives Accreditation

The Physical Therapist Assistant program at College of DuPage has received 10-year accreditation through 2023 from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.

"This is a major accomplishment that speaks highly of our program," said Vickie Gukenberger, Associate Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences. "This means our students are receiving the best possible education, and it ensures that future students will have access to a program that sets high standards."

CAPTE is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and grants specialized accreditation status to qualified entry-level physical therapist and physical therapist assistant programs.
