Last chance to see popular 'Oliver'

This is the final weekend to see the musical production that everyone is raving about at Palatine's Cutting Hall. Music On Stage, the leading community theatre organization in the Northwest suburbs is presenting "Oliver" for three final performances Friday and Saturday evening as well as a Sunday matinee.

Winner of the Illinois Theatre Association's Excellence in Theatre award, Music On Stage's presentation of "Oliver" features a cast of 40 talented actors, and a full orchestra. This Tony Award winning favorite, based on Dickens' Oliver Twist, is a heart-warming take for the entire family, following Oliver's path through the workhouses and streets of London to love and security. Oliver offers outstanding musical numbers such as "Food, Glorious Food," "I'd Do Anything," "Where is Love?”, "Consider Yourself" and "As Long As He Needs Me." Lionel Bart's heart thumping score will have audiences of all ages exclaiming "Please Sir, I Want Some More!"

Advance ticket sales are $20 for reserved seating, while ‘Silver Citizens' (age 62 & over) are $17 and children (12 & under) are $18. Add $2 to each if purchased at the door. Groups of 10 or more pay $17 a ticket. Tickets must be purchased in the same order to qualify for the group rate. A Dinner Package is also available for only $17 added on to your ticket price in conjunction with Vince's Italian Restaurant in Palatine.
