Buffalo Grove blanks Prospect

Buffalo Grove got a goal in each half to extend its unbeaten season and cement its spot atop the Mid-Suburban League girls soccer standings with a 2-0 triumph at Prospect on Monday.

Jessica Kovach had an unassisted goal, Kelli Zickert scored with an assist from Allie Ingham and Sarah O'Connor got the shutout in goal as the Bison improved to 16-0-1.

Palatine 1, Conant 1: Palatine went ahead with a first-period goal from Michelle Raymond, but visiting Conant got the equalizer from Sidney O'Keefe as the teams finished tied in MSL West play.

Rachel Rhodes made 6 stops for Palatine, and Haley Anderson had 4 for Conant.

Schaumburg 1, Hoffman Estates 0: Sarah Kozlowski's first-half goal, assisted by Riley Williams, held up as the host Saxons earned an MSL West win. Tressa Palcheck stopped 4 shots for Schaumburg, and Francesa Van made 5 saves for Hoffman Estates.
