Bring home the turkey at Schaumburg Golf Club's annual golf scramble

Grab your clubs and enjoy a scenic fall morning at Schaumburg Golf Club's Turkey Shoot Scramble.

The tournament is open to 36 foursome amateur teams and will take place Saturday, Oct. 26, at Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road.

A brunch buffet will be available from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the shotgun start at 11 a.m.

"As the weather starts to change, the Turkey Shoot is one of our last events for the outdoor golf season," said Jonathan Parsons, general manager of golf operations. "There's nothing better than a crisp morning out on the golf course."

Turkeys will be awarded to the top 10 teams. Golfers must be present to win a turkey.

Cost is $300 per foursome for permanent tee time golfers and $460 per foursome for regular golfers. Entries close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
