Enjoy an evening of Latin dancing Feb. 15 at College of DuPage

The College of DuPage Latin American Studies Committee, Latino Outreach Center and Casa de Amigos Spanish Club will host a free Salsa/Merengue/Bachata Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in the Student Services Center Atrium on the college's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

This event is free and open to the public.

The event includes free salsa, merengue and bachata dance lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by a DJ and open dancing from 8 to 10 p.m.

Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

COD's Latin American Studies Committee promotes the understanding and appreciation of Latin American countries and cultures through field trips, lectures and the performing arts.

The Latino Outreach Center offers Hispanic students extensive educational support services and referrals to local organizations and resources in support of their educational goals.

Open to COD students, faculty, staff and community members, the Casa de Amigos Spanish Club promotes learning and experiencing Hispanic heritage through cultural excursions and open discussion.
