Book Expo Coming to Schaumburg
A Book Expo for all ages will be held from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, sponsored by the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Chicago Chapter, in the Fellowship Hall of St. Peter Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. Books for children, teens and adults will be available from the authors who wrote them. Genres will include fantasy, sci-fi, romance, thrillers, crime, mysteries, historical, and more. There is no registration or fee required. Children age 10 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
"This is a great opportunity to buy books for yourself or as gifts," said author and ACFW Chicago Vice President Susan Miura. "Many award-winning authors will be participating, and the selection is going to be fantastic. Authors will be happy to sign purchased copies and answer questions you might have about their books or writing and getting published."
Some of the authors will have drawings and giveaways. To attend, simply enter through the main doors of St. Peter church and into the Fellowship Hall. There will be a sign in the lobby to provide direction.
