Residents Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House

Salad, roast beef, mostaccioli, and fresh fruit salad were on the menu as Friendship Village's executive sous chef led ten residents in making a delicious dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield.

This Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home to keep families together while their child is being treated at Central DuPage Hospital. Every night, families are able to heal together because of the comfort, compassion, and community found at the house which is located across the street from where their child is being treated.

This is the third year that Friendship Village residents have volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House chopping, mixing and serving up a meal from the heart.
