My daughter and aspiring ballerina, Autum Hosticka. Autum has been dancing for 8 years and trains 6 days a week. I like to have photo shoots with her to have a photo history of her progression toward her dream of dancing professionally. This is one of my favorite pictures I have taken of her. As a restoration architect working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Prizren, Kosovo, focusing on cultural recovery in the "new" Eastern European nation of the Republic of Kosovo, I met this Albanian Kosovar gentleman, Besim, when I was working at the "Broken Mosque" (Namazxhah), an outdoor, roofless mosque built in 1455 by the conquering Ottoman Turks to be used by their military to pray.
