Timothy pulls out win

Timothy Christian 5, Walther Lutheran 2: Timothy Christian (4-12, 3-6 Private School League) scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning for the come-from-behind win in Elmhurst. Matt Meyer went 2-for-3 with an RBI and John VanByssum was 2-for-3 with a home run. Meyer's single up the middle scored VanByssum with the winning run in the seventh.

Downers Grove North 6, Glenbard West 5: Jake Murray hit a second-inning solo homer to power the Trojans (10-12, 6-6) to the West Suburban Silver victory. Lance Villasenor and Joey Wheeler doubled for the Hilltoppers (10-15, 4-10).

Glenbard South 10, Sycamore 4: The Raiders scored 6 times in the bottom of the sixth inning to win in the Western Sun Conference. Dylan Milkent hit his first homer of the season in the first inning, and Sterling Smith went deep in the fifth. David Suffern (3-3) earned the victory.

Aurora Central Catholic 9, Immaculate Conception 1: Aurora Central (8-18, 1-13) scored 4 in the fourth inning and 4 in the seventh for the victory in the Suburban Catholic Conference. IC is 12-14, 4-8.

Westmont 11, Lisle 7: Jon Kolosky doubled twice and scored twice for the Lions (10-14, 5-5) in the Interstate Eight Conference defeat.

Willowbrook 4, Downers Grove South 1: Brett Buchanan (2-1) pitched a complete game to earn the victory for the Warriors (15-9, 10-5) in the West Suburban Gold. Mike Elgeness was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored for Willowbrook.

Neuqua Valley 5, East Aurora 0: Mike Gerber homered and Kevin Clendening (7-0) pitched a shutout, striking out six and walking none for the Wildcats (15-8, 9-3 Upstate Eight Conference).
