Kirk School Spring Showcase of Arts and Crafts: March 7 and 8, at the school, 520 S. Plum Grove Road, Palatine. Artists and crafters of original work only are being sought. March 7

Spring fashion and gift show: The Schaumburg High School VIP Club invites vendors to participate in its Spring Fashion & Gift Show on March 7. They are seeking a variety of offerings such as jewelry, candles, handbags, accessories, fragrances, skin care as well as unique and whimsical gift ideas. 50 spaces are available. Two fashion shows will also be held during the event, featuring spring apparel and prom fashions sponsored by local retailers. Applications can be downloaded from the school Web site: www.shs.d211.org.

Fremd High School Spring Boutique: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 7, William Fremd High School, 1000 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. Over 180 crafters offering quality merchandise in a variety of media. Hosted by the Fremd Boosters Club, proceeds benefit sports programs and student organizations. Free parking and admission.
