Talbot, Barrington tops at Ram Invitational

Grayslake Central invite: At Stonewall Orchard Golf Club in Grayslake, J.P. Talbot fired a 75, earning medalist honors and leading Barrington to a winning 323 in the Ram Invitational.

Grayslake Central (second place) and Mundelein (third) each carded a 324, while Lake Zurich (331) was fourth among the eight teams.

Mundelein's Grant Heelan (second) and Lake Zurich's Blake Stezskal (third) shot matching 77s. Lake Zurich's Mike Nutter and Grayslake Central's Eric Hogenkamp shot a 78 and 79, respectively.

The top 12 also included Grayslake Central's Nick Wysocki (80, sixth) and Cody Stover (80, eighth), Mundelein's Brett Cigelnik (80, ninth), Barrington's Mike Stratakis (81, 10th) and Greg Conrad (81, 11th) and Cary-Grove's Dan DePrey (82, 12th).

Men's golfSaukville invite: At Emerald Hills Golf Course in Sterling on Friday, the College of Lake County carded a 320 and placed second behind Moraine Valley (313).Thomas Brennan led CLC with a 77, while Eric Holst fired a 79.
