Bailey, Glenbard East edge Glenbard North
Dante Bailey poured in a game-high 24 points to lead Glenbard East to a 53-50 win over Glenbard North in first-day action at the District 87 Thanksgiving Tournament at Glenbard West. Glenbard South’s Matt Jeske and Dusko Despot forced the issue with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Glenbard West 67, Glenbard North 55:In the District 87 nightcap Michael Mache#146;s 21 points led the way for the host Hilltoppers. Glenbard North got balanced scoring from Ryan Krueger, Josh Fleming and Sterling Hightower with 14, 12 and 10 points, respectively.Waubonsie Valley 55, Deerfield 44:Jared Brownridge scored 22 points with 9 rebounds and 4 steals to pace Waubonsie Valley at the Ed Molitor Thanksgiving Tournament in Palatine.
