Westminster Christian d. Luther North: The Warriors dropped a hard-fought Northeast Conference road match, 26-28, 25-19, 21-25. Hannah Graves led the Warrios with 8 kills, 8 digs and 11 assists. Cara Tyrell had 5 aces and 10 digs, and Whitney Vanden Bos added 3 aces and 16 digs for Westminster Christian (10-8-1, 2-2).
Streamwood d. Elgin: Paige Donovan paced the Sabres with 6 kills, Alyson Montemayor added 5 kills 21 assists and Liz Simonelli notched 3 aces and 9 digs to lead Streamwood past Elgin in an Upstate Eight River matchup, 27-25, 25-21. Heather Galucka (10 assists), Briana Hamilton (7 kills), Rachel Roth (7 digs, 3 kills) and Jennifer Fulton led Elgin (2-20, 0-3).
Lake Park d. South Elgin: Laura Balance had 9 kills, 7 digs and an ace, Ali Osborne contributed 8 kills and Katelyn Stonecipher had 18 digs, but it wasn't enough for the Storm (5-6-1, 1-3), who lost an Upstate Eight Valley match to the visiting Lancers, 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.
Waubonsie Valley d. Bartlett: The Hawks started well but couldn't fend off the Warriors in a 25-23, 19-25, 8-25 Upstate Eight Valley loss in Aurora. The loss dropped Bartlett to 10-8-1, 1-2.
Burlington Central d. North Boone: The Rockets improved to 7-10 overall and 2-1 in the Big Northern East with a 25-14, 25-13 win in Burlington. Senior setter Kaitlyn O'Reilly had 11 assists, 2 kills and 2 aces, outside hitters Sydney Sand and Audi Djukic each had 4 kills and libero Sam Bohne made 12 digs for the Rockets.
Richmond-Burton d. Hampshire: Alex Dumoulin led the Whip Purs with 8 kills and Melanie Bonk added 4 stuff blocks but it wasn't enough to avoid a 25-9, 25-19 Big Northern East los against the visiting Rockets.
St. Edward d. Aurora Central: The Green Wave (4-13) rallied from a 1-0 deficit in Aurora to nip the Chargers 22-25, 25-16, 26-24.
