Prairie Light Review Publication Party Dec. 7

The editors of Prairie Light Review, a juried magazine produced twice per year by student editors enrolled in English 2210 at College of DuPage, will host a publication party for its Fall 2011 edition from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the Student Services Center, Room 3245, at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

PLR provides a venue for creative work produced by students, staff, faculty and members of the District 502 community. The magazine has been published for more than 20 years and is funded by Student Activities fees.

The Dec. 7 publication party will include live music, an open mic and a sneak peek at PLR's fall edition, which includes artwork in various mediums, including drawings, paintings, collages, sculptures, jewelry and graphic designs.
