Junior Woman's Club Scholarship: The Libertyville Junior Woman's Club is accepting applications for the 2009 Outstanding Female Student Award valued at $1,500. Applications are available at Cook Memorial Library, Libertyville High School, Vernon Hills High School and Carmel High School. The award will be presented to a female high school senior attending one of those schools, to be applied toward tuition, books or other educational expenses. Applications must be returned by Jan. 30. Working Mom Scholarship: The Libertyville Junior Woman's Club is accepting applications for the 2009 Outstanding Working Mom Scholarship. This $1500 award will be presented to a mother who resides in Lake County, is currently employed, and is enrolled in a 2- or 4- year college program, to be applied toward tuition, books or other educational expenses. Applications are available at The College of Lake County, Robert Morris College, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and Cook Memorial Library in Libertyville.
