Mini-brick Memorial: Deadline to order is Jan. 15, Grayslake Area Public Library, 100 Library Lane, Grayslake. The Friends of the Grayslake Library will sell memorial mini-bricks to be placed on a wall inside the library. The price is $50 for a 1.5-by-3-inch brick, or $100 for a 3-by-3-inch brick. It Can Be Done: Mondays and Tuesdays, Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Francesca's Intimo has agreed to donate 15 percent of patrons' bills to the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done! on Mondays and Tuesdays if the customer mentions the organization to a restaurant employee. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater. Fruit sale: Mundelein High School instrumental band program is holding a fruit fundraising sale. An assortment of small and large cases of oranges, grapefruit, tangelos and juice oranges and combination assortments are available. Entertainment books: The Mundelein Community Women's Club is selling the 2009 Entertainment books. Two for the price of one coupons are offered at local restaurants, Marriott Theatre, Ravinia and discounts at Dominick's, car washes, cleaners and sporting events.
