Red Ribbon Classic: Registration 7:15-8:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, Libertyville High School football field, 708 W. Park Ave., Libertyville. Jr. Bulldogs Basketball: 6:30 p.m., ages 6-7, register by Monday, Oct. 19, for evaluations Tuesday, Oct. 20; ages 8-9, register by Wednesday, Oct. 21, for evaluations Thursday, Oct. 22, Field House Sports and Fitness Center, 800 N. Baldwin Ave., Waukegan. The registration fee is $68. The Jr. Bulldogs Basketball League is a developmental league where everyone gets a chance to play. The league runs for six weeks and includes one hour of practice a week during the evening and one game a week, usually on Saturday mornings at The Field House. Youth Basketball League: South Barrington youth basketball leagues are available for boys and girls in first-eighth grade. Teams will be formed in late fall and games will be played form January through March 2010. All teams are headed by a volunteer coach and all players receive a participation trophy. Nehara Hadassah Couples Bowling League: 8 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of every month beginning in August at Lakeside Lanes, 900 S. Lake, Mundelein. This league goes from August to May with a $25 payment every month per couple.
