WTHS Golf Outing: 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, Bittersweet Golf Course, 874 Almond Road, Gurnee. The Warren Township High School Athletic Boosters 12th Annual Benefit Golf Outing will begin with a putting and chipping clinic, followed by a luncheon at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at noon. $80 per person includes greens fee, cart, goody bag, lunch and clinic. COVE Alliance fundraiser: 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 6, Mickey Finn's Amber Room, 412 North Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Children's Outreach and Vocational Education, a nonprofit organization that serves disadvantaged children in Uganda, is sponsoring their annual fundraising event, with a pizza buffet, silent and live auctions, raffles, live entertainment, and more. It Can Be Done: Mondays and Tuesdays, Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Francesca's Intimo has agreed to donate 15 percent of patrons' bills to the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done! on Mondays and Tuesdays if the customer mentions the organization to a restaurant employee. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater.
