Events that raise money for some type of charity, including galas, golf outings, rummage sales, shopping events, fashion shows, picnics and sport nights. Deadline is two weeks before event date.

A Spring Fashion Show Fundraiser featuring children ages 2 to 12. Donation requested of $15 per adult, $5 for children 6 and older and free for ages 5 and younger. It Can Be Done: Mondays and Tuesdays, Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Francesca's Intimo has agreed to donate 15 percent of patrons' bills to the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done! on Mondays and Tuesdays if the customer mentions the organization to a restaurant employee. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater. Silent Auction: Through 9 p.m. Monday, April 27, Indian Trails Public Library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling. Items include a round of golf for four, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to local entertainment establishments and health/fitness prizes. All proceeds benefit The Foundation. Clearbrook Jelly Belly Days: Volunteers are being sought to work various shifts between 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, at intersections throughout Chicago and the suburbs during Clearbrook's Jelly Belly Days.
