April 13

Society for Quality: Make reservations by Monday, April 13 for event at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, Arboretum Club, 401 W. Half Day Road, Buffalo Grove. The Northeastern Illinois Section of the American Society for Quality will meet, with a clinic on selling ideas to management followed by dinner at 6:30 and the main presentation, "FDC: Successful Strategies in the Post-Profligate FDC Era" at 7:30 p.m. The meetings is free; cost for the meal is $25. Administrative Professionals Day: 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, Hotel Indigo, 455 N Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills. The Lake County Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will celebrate Administrative Professionals Day with appetizers, networking, raffles, and prizes. Shoreline Dance Club: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Couples can review basic fox trot steps and learn new ones.
