Wheaton Public Library book & art sale opens Nov. 9

The Friends of the Wheaton Public Library are busy sorting and pricing items for their annual Holiday Book and Art Sale.

The sale is unique in that it features individually priced collectible treasures, beautiful like-new gift books, delightful children's books, Christmas items, autographed copies, silent auctions and framed and unframed art. All items were donated to the Friends and collected throughout the year.

Silent auction items this year include a Mad Magazine collection, a Zane Grey collection, and a rare Mark Twain book of rhymes.

The sale opens Thursday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It continues from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.
