Meet Olympic and Paralympic competitors at fourth annual Celebrity Golf Classic
Grab your golf clubs "fore" a real kicker of a good cause at the fourth annual USASA Celebrity Golf Classic on Friday, Sept. 15, at the McHenry Country Club in McHenry, which has served the golf and dining needs of the area for nearly 100 years.
The public is invited to join the fun and help support the United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) community.
Golfers and guests will have the opportunity to meet USASA alumni, present and former U.S. Olympic team members and U.S. Paralympic competitors.
An impressive list of who's who in snowboarding and freeskiing will be in attendance. Meet and play with:
• Amy Purdy, a Team Toyota Paralympic Snowboarder; motivational speaker; and finalist on season 18 of "Dancing with the Stars."
• Louis Vito and Hailey Ostrom, the ultimate power couple! Vito as Team Toyota Olympic snowboarder and "Dancing with the Stars" celebrity and Ostrom, celebrity golf influencer.
• Nick Baumgartner, a member of the U.S. Snowboard team, celebrated X-Games medalist, and an Olympic gold medalist.
• Justin Reiter, Olympic Alpine snowboarder, now Olympic coach.
• Jake Vedder, U.S. Youth Olympian gold medal winner and motivational speaker.
• Chase Josey, Olympic snowboarder who competed in the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Also joining golfers on the course will be the celebrity guests, Nashville recording artist Nick Walker, and former Chicago Bear Zach Miller.
Admission is $200 per player, which includes a full itinerary of events, including golf, participant gift bag, practice range balls, cash Bloody Mary bar, morning coffee and doughnuts, lunch at the halfway house on the course, and post-golf reception with appetizers and cocktails from Carbliss Breckenridge Distillery.
In addition, there will be a helicopter ball drop and golfers can win big: four lucky golfers will qualify for a $100,000 Shootout; one lucky putting contest winner will receive a seven-day Caribbean vacation; plus a Hole-Out in two with the Long Drive Professional Golfer to win a once in a lifetime trip to Pebble Beach; and hole-in-one contests on all Par 3 holes.
There will be a variety of silent auction items, such as a Green Mountain smoker; a Golf Simulator from Rapsodo; Big Moss Putting Green; items from PXG, William Murray, Zero Friction, Pins & Aces, Sun Mountain, Swannies and Callaway Golf; fun vacations; and more.
Live auctions will feature: Finn Scooters Electric Golf Motorcycle; GSC Electric Golf Skate Caddy; and eNyy Neighborhood Golf UTV signed by celebrity guests.
Registered golfers will begin on-site registration for the golf outing at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

USASA is a grass-roots nonprofit organization represented by 30 regional series across the U.S. that is 30 years strong. Proceeds from the golf outing are used to help develop the next generation of athletes seeking their dream of competing in the U.S. Olympics and to support the education and training of coaches and officials in this popular local and national sport.
