Spring into career success at University Center Open House

The University Center of Lake County will hold an open house on Tuesday, April 3 from 6 - 8 pm to demonstrate how higher education can help adults shape their career paths. It will showcase the more than 140 academic options available in Lake County from 20 Illinois institutions for completing a bachelor's degree, earning a graduate degree or pursuing professional certificates through evening, weekend, or online study. Prospective students can meet program representatives to ask questions about curriculum and admission, discuss career paths, and find the right programs.

The University Center is partnering with the Job Center of Lake County, so attendees will have two opportunities during the open house (6:30 - 7 and 7:30 - 8) to attend a resume-building workshop presented by Lake County Workforce Development. This workshop builds on a LinkedIn workshop that will be offered at University Center on March 27 from 4-6 pm and prepares participants for a job fair that will be held at University Center on April 17 from 4 - 7 pm.

University Center of Lake County is at 1200 University Center Drive in Grayslake. Call 847/665-4000 for more information or visit www.ucenter.org/openhouse to register for the open house. Register for the career workshops or job fair via https://goo.gl/forms/JdkMI3lb2pRISSWm1
