Join Assisi Animal Foundation's 'Salute to Veterans' Nov. 11

Join in Assisi Animal Foundation's "Salute the Veterans" at the annual dinner dance auction on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Come for an evening of delectable dining, meeting old and new friends enjoying a lively live auction, and of course the chance to take home some auction treasures and surprises!

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Crystal Lake Country Club, 721 Country Club in Crystal Lake.

The keynote speaker will be Steve Dale, a certified animal behavior consultant, popular author and host of two nationally syndicated radio shows, "Steve Dale's Pet World" and "The Pet Minute."

Tickets are $70. Register by Tuesday, Nov. 7 at assisi.org.

When you RSVP, don't forget to list the names of any veterans along with the branch of service.

The Assisi Animal Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and one of America's first no-kill and careless animal shelters.

The foundation is named after St. Francis of Assisi, the early champion of animals.
