Shipping Supply Company Uses Boxes to Grant Birthday Wishes

The people at Mail-N-Stuff, located in Glen Ellyn, IL, have graciously given one of the staple supplies of their business to a philanthropic cause. Mail-N-Stuff has recently donated 100 cardboard boxes to be used in the Children's Birthday Project (CBP) of the Humanitarian Service Project, based in Carol Stream, IL. CBP brightens the lives of 900 needy children throughout the community by providing them with the birthday package of their dreams.

Although obtaining the cardboard boxes is just the first of many steps in assembling these fun-packed birthday packages, this uplifting program, which serves local children, ages 3-11 years old, would absolutely not be possible without the generous contributions from Mark Herman of Mail-N-Stuff. On their birthdays, children enrolled in the CBP receive a large personalized box that is filled to the brim with toys and gifts such as 5-7 books, 4-8 larger toys games, stuffed animals, small toys, and a Party in a Bag. The Party in a Bag contains all of the makings of a children's birthday party, such as cake mix and frosting, candles, balloons, streamers, various other party decorations, and party favors. When the birthday box is complete, it weighs an average of 20 pounds, and is guaranteed to give these impoverished children the wonderful birthday celebration that they deserve. Without their enrollment in CBP, the families of these children would be unable to provide the gifts and supplies needed for a child's birthday.
