'Best in Show' fashion show May 20 benefits Almost Home Foundation
Join us for an afternoon of fashion, food and fundraising which includes lunch, champagne punch, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and the “Best in Show” fashion show.
The Almost Home Foundation's First Annual “Best in Show” Fashion Show will feature models from our volunteers and members, along with some of our “Top Dogs,” strutting the catwalk in the latest spring fashion trends for women from local boutiques and Chicago designers. Guests can see the latest color palettes and on-trend styles from weekend casual to date night dressy.
The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Stonegate, 2401 W. Higgins Rd., Hoffman Estates. Tickets are $40 in advance ($350/Table of 10) or $50 at the door. Please register in advance at www.almosthomefoundation.org by May 6, 2012. Seating is limited.
All proceeds from the event will benefit our dogs and cats that are in need of extra medical attention or surgery. You can help us save the lives of homeless animals and make them the “Best in Show!”
Almost Home Foundation is a nonprofit, all volunteer, no-kill animal rescue funded solely by private donations. We have no paid employees. Almost Home Foundation is committed to reducing the number of homeless and unwanted companion animals through education programs, spay /neuter programs, and the responsible re-homing of dogs and cats through adoption programs. Almost Home Foundation does not have a physical building to house animals. We rely on volunteers who dedicate their time, homes and hearts for our animals until permanent, loving homes can be found.
Based out of Elk Grove Village, IL, Almost Home Foundation was founded in 2005 by five passionate animal lovers who felt that by creating this organization, they could make a difference and save many lives. We are dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats and dogs from Elk Grove Village, Addison, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Barrington, Barrington Hills, South Barrington, Inverness, Wood Dale and it's surrounding areas. We also save animals from High Kill Shelters throughout the state of Illinois and other states. Over the past seven years, Almost Home Foundation has rescued over 7000 animals that would otherwise have been euthanized.
Adoptable animals in our care will be kept as long as it takes to find a forever home. Almost Home Foundation does not discriminate against animals based on age, breed, color of fur or physical disability. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the need to ever have a healthy adoptable animal euthanized.
As a registered, not-for-profit 501c3 charitable organization, all of your donations are tax deductible and are used for the animals.
