Exclusive Easter Brunch Menu at Waterleaf in Glen Ellyn
Waterleaf restaurant in Glen Ellyn will celebrate Easter with an exclusive prix fixe brunch on Sunday, April 8.
“The variety and quality of Waterleaf's Easter brunch menu complement this most beautiful of seasons,” said Jean-Pierre Leroux, General Manager of the Culinary & Hospitality Center at College of DuPage where Waterleaf is located. “This Easter celebration will be a memorable one for families who choose to embrace the pampering and elegant atmosphere of Waterleaf for this special holiday.”
The Waterleaf Easter brunch is scheduled for Sunday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for dinner).
The menu includes:
Starters: Homemade Paté Platter with Condiments and Artisan Bread; Smoked Fish Platter with Horseradish Cream and Toast; Smoked Salmon Poached Eggs Florentine with Toasted Mini Pretzel Roll; Eggs with Prosciutto and Gorgonzola with Green Olive Relish and Croutons; French Toast with Mixed Berry Compote and Banana Smoothie; Mushroom “Cappuccino” Soup with Curry and Pistachio Biscotti; Truffle Caprese Micro Green Salad with Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Fresh Basil Chiffonnade with Truffle Oil Drizzle; and
Entrees: Champagne, Morel and Chervil Infused Chicken with Persimmon Compote, Braised Vine Tomato; Prosciutto Wrapped Monk Fish Tournedos with Wilted Baby Spinach, Tomato Concassee, Saffron Sauce; 4 oz. Filet Mignon with Spiced Butter and Glazed Baby Fennel, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, Crisp Potato Crown, Red Wine Sauce; Braised Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Glazed Baby Carrots; Pan Seared Whitefish with Braised Savoy Cabbage Galette, Easter Egg Radish Sauce, Tomato Concassée, Kiware Sprouts, Wispy Fried Red Onion; and
Desserts: Jasmine Rice Pudding; The Waterleaf Floating Island (Fluffy Meringue, Gingerbread Crème Anglaise, Topped with Caramelized Gingerbread Wafer); Almond Cappuccino Semi-Fredo (Almond Tuile Cup); Sticky Toffee Puddy (Toffee Sauce, Butter Pecan Ice Cream); and Assorted Sorbets with Carmelized “Palmier.”
The Waterleaf brunch also includes Champagne Mimosa or Kirr Royale and complimentary cinnamon rolls. The cost is $32.50 per guest plus taxes and gratuities.
