Tough end for Harper men’s soccer
The Harper College men’s soccer season came to an end Tuesday afternoon when the Hawks lost to Milwaukee Area Technical College 4-2.
“It was really disappointing. The talent was much better then what it has been (in past seasons),” Harper coach Jason Diebold said of the loss.
Diego Caldera (Elk Grove), Stephan Thabuteau (Palatine) each had goals for Harper. One of the bright spots for the Hawks this season was the play of goalie George Caballero (Palatine).
“George held his own. It was just difficult because he was never technically trained,” Diebold said.
