School districts are bleeding us dry
I would like to take this opportunity to thank those individuals responsible for raising my school taxes.
My 2010 property tax bill just arrived. The combined 2010 school taxes for Harper College District 512, Township High School District 211 and School District 54 increased by 24 percent when compared to 2009.
Your yearly increases are pulling families into poverty.
The individuals responsible for these increases belong in the corner wearing the dunce cap. And they should be ashamed of themselves. Wake up, the spigot is dry. We don’t have any more money to give to you. We are having to cut back on our spending why aren’t you!
Either take the dunce hat off and act responsibly, or resign.
