COD hosts free veterans counseling speaker series Oct. 14, 21, 28

The College of DuPage Human Services department will host a series of speakers in October to engage area educators and citizens in a wide variety of veterans' issues. This series is free of charge and open to the public.

Each of the following programs will take place in the Student Resource Center, Room 2800, at the College of DuPage main campus in Glen Ellyn.

“PTSD and Anxiety Impact on Military Members and Families”

Friday, Oct. 14, 1 to 4 p.m.

Presented by Col. Janet M. Kamer, USAFR, PH.D.

“Supporting Warrior Healing with Community Capacity Building Interventions” Friday, Oct. 21, 1 to 4 p.m.

Presented by Dorothy Simpson-Taylor, Ph.D.

“The Psychology of Anger and Forgiveness”

Friday, Oct. 28, 1 to 4 p.m.

Presented by Howard Lipke, Ph.D.
