Art exhibit kicks off at Dole Mansion
"Multiple Visions," a group art exhibit by artists from The Art Guild of Palatine, kicks off the Dole Mansion's First Friday event schedule this Friday April 1.
A reception is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Sage Gallery with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The event is open to the public. In addition, the day features tours, art, and music of the mansion and Dole and Sage Galleries.
Tag artwork will remain on display in both galleries throughout the month of April.
Said Marlene Wood, President of TAG, "We are excited by the opportunity to showcase members - artwork in so beautiful and peaceful a setting, as the Dole. This collaborative event demonstrates the Legacy Arts Park's support of the TAG mission statement, which states: A community of artists and friends of the arts supporting each other through mutual sharing of opportunities, information and the advancement of artistic growth."
Over 20 TAG contributing artists using oils, pastels, and watercolor have artworks displayed and available for purchase at the Dole Mansion.
