DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble Performs at the MAC April 10
The DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble will perform with guest pianist Marshall Vente at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, on the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The 20-piece ensemble performs under the direction of Tom Tallman.
Vente, of Darien, joins the group to perform his commissioned arrangement of Miles Davis' “Flamenco Sketches” and his arrangement of “Route 66,” featuring vocalist Sandi Haynes.
The April 10 performance also features original arrangements by ensemble members Jack Gallagher of LaGrange and Aaron Newman of Naperville, and a portion of Mozart's “Symphony No. 40, in G minor.
