Wheaton North whips Hoffman Estates

Wheaton North 66, Hoffman Estates 45: The Falcons led by as many as 33 points in overwhelming the previously unbeaten 19th-ranked Hawks in Wheaton. Maddie Baillie had 16 points and 6 assists, Fantasia Vine 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and AK Feltes 10 points and 6 boards for No. 14 Wheaton North (5-2). Precious Ogunleye paced Hoffman Estates (7-1) with 14 points.

Geneva 56, West Chicago 47: Kat Yelle and Ashley Santos each scored 15 points, and the No. 13 Vikings (5-2) handed the No. 10 Wildcats their first loss in West Chicago.

West Chicago took a 45-42 lead on a Jordan Nickelson basket, but Geneva's Katelyn Allen the niece of Wildcats coach Kim Wallner hit a 3-pointer to spark a game-ending 14-2 run. Allen scored 7 of her 9 points during the run.

Mary Connolly scored 14 points and Allie Tapanes 11 for West Chicago (6-1).

St. Francis 62, Rosary 61: Kate Slattery's 3-pointer at the buzzer forced overtime, and Fiona McMahon scored all 6 of the Spartans' points in the extra session in Aurora. McMahon and Slattery each scored 13 points and Kelly Reinke 12 for St. Francis (6-3, 1-1 Suburban Christian Blue).

Montini 70, Immaculate Conception 23: Whitney Adams scored 11 points, and the No. 1 Broncos rolled in Lombard. Whitney Holloway, Kiki Wilson, Nikia Edom and Sara Ross each added 8 points for Montini (6-0). Allie DiVito paced IC (7-4) with 7 points.

Glenbard South 63, Illiana Christian 46: Nevena Markovic poured in 28 points for the visiting No. 7 Raiders (8-0, 2-0 Metro Suburban). Patrice Hicks added 13.

Metea Valley 30, Joliet West 28: Lori Obendorf had 10 points and 8 rebounds to pace the Mustangs (2-7) in Joliet.

Conant 44, Glenbard East 32: Michaela Stranski scored 16 points for the Rams (2-7) in Lombard.

Downers Grove South 53, Leyden 29: Carly Saraceno tossed in 14 points and Tori Franklin 10 for the Mustangs (5-3, 2-1 West Suburban Gold).

Proviso East 78, Willowbrook 42: Illinois recruit Ivory Crawford poured in 25 points to pace the Pirates in Villa Park. Colleen Krawczykowski scored 8 points for Willowbrook (1-8).

Proviso West 63, Hinsdale Central 60: Proviso West outscored the winless Red Devils 24-15 in the fourth quarter to rally in Hinsdale. Christine Rush scored 21 points for Hinsdale Central (0-7, 0-3 West Suburban Silver).
