'Alice' takes stage: Fox Valley Park District's Summer Stage production of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." will be performed today through Sunday at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St. Tickets can be purchased at the School on show days. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.Car show in Elburn:The fifth annual County Car Show and Picnic in the Park will be Saturday at 2S111 Green Road, Elburn. Registration is $15 and is from 9 a.m. to noon. Voting is 1 to 2 p.m. and awards at 3 p.m. Cars are displayed across the 7 acres. Proceeds to benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Thursday program begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature tours of Cantigny Gardens and the Robert R. McCormick Museum at 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. The tours will be followed by wine, soft drinks and light snacks in the museum's library. Galena Blvd., is open from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 15. The market offers fresh, locally grown produce, prepared foods and handcrafted products. The city also offers a Farmers Market from 8 a.m. until noon Saturdays at the Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway. Escorted by local and state police, motorcyclists will ride together to raise money for medical research grants and family support programs. Minimum donation is $35 per motorcycle. The ride will culminate at the college with a Celebration of Life program featuring onstage interviews with local childhood brain tumor survivors and award presentations to top fundraising chapters, clubs, individuals and motorcycle businesses. There will be a grand prize drawing for a new Honda motorcycle. Free coffee and pastries will be available for breakfast and a light lunch at the end of the ride.
