Glenbard South's Wilkes throws 1-hitter

Glenbard South 10, Rochelle 0: Jess Wilkes (20-2) struck out 11 in a five-inning 1-hitter and the Raiders pounded out 14 hits in Glen Ellyn. Jenny Wittenberg doubled twice, drove in 4 runs and scored twice and Jane Trzaska went 3-for-4 with a double, run scored and 2 RBI for Glenbard South (28-3, 13-0 Western Sun Conference).

Neuqua Valley 10, Streamwood 0: Leigh Nebendahl homered twice and drove in 4 runs for the Wildcats (23-10, 14-6 Upstate Eight Conference). Colleen Hohman went 3-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI.

St. Charles North 8, Lake Park 1: Ashley Seering's 2-run homer highlighted a 6-run North Stars (28-3, 17-1) third inning in Roselle. Chelsea Henshaw went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Carly Willert 2-for-4 with a double for Lake Park (24-8, 13-5 Upstate Eight).

Glenbard West 7, York 1: Cassie Goggin (2-0) struck out five for the Hilltoppers (14-16, 8-4 West Suburban Conference Silver). Michele Waggoner went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI and Jenna Ortega doubled and drove in 2.
